The Challenge

To create a multimedia presentation depicting the work of a charity and how it impacts upon the life of a young person in the developing world.

If you are in Year 12 at a secondary school on the Isle of Man this is your chance to speak out for people in developing countries while raising money for a charity providing direct support for those people.

It is a journey that will give you a personal connection with the developing world.  You will discover other cultures and develop empathy toward people and societies you meet along the way.

You will learn how to work effectively as a team and develop skills in giving presentations, which are vital for university courses.

Most of all you will be able to express yourself creatively and have a lot of fun while giving real benefit to real people around the globe.

The Challenge is sponsored by Gary and Susan Clueit and coordinated by the One World Centre.  For every team that completes the Challenge there will be prize money donated to each teams charity.  After the final in March prize money will be distributed to the charities you have chosen.
