We were provided with amazing food as well as a great venue with state of the art facilities, including a huge touch screen, which all the student teams used to great effect.<\/p>\n<p>The prize awards were as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ballakermeen High School: \u00a3500 grant award to Glad&#8217;s House<\/li>\n<li>Castle Rushen High School: \u00a3500 grant award to Koru Hospital Fund<\/li>\n<li>UCM: \u00a3500 grant award to Dekamile<\/li>\n<li>King William&#8217;s College: \u00a3500 grant award plus \u00a31,000 and AFD Award for Advocacy (AAA) to Global Action Nepal and the AAA shield<\/li>\n<li>QEII High School: \u00a31,000 grant award to Hands of Hope<\/li>\n<li>St Ninian&#8217;s High School: \u00a32,000 grant award plus \u00a31,000 Audience prize to Developing Orphans<\/li>\n<li>Ramsey Grammar School: \u00a33,500 grant award to the Pahar Trust and the Frances Davidson Cup<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Many thanks to everyone who was involved to make this evening such a success and a huge well done to all the student teams who worked so hard on their presentations.<\/p>\n<p>Helen, OWCC Co-ordinator<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The OWCC final, hosted by our sponsors AFD Software Ltd. at their impressive headquarters at the Mountain View Innovation Centre last week, was a great success.
